Nom Ka Chai

Made with glutinous rice flour, chopped chives, and herbs, Nom Ka Chai, also known as chives cake, is a Chinese-inspired dessert. The patties are then fried in large quantities on pans to create this mid-meal snack. It's extremely exciting to bite into the dish because of the wonderful contrast between the crispy surface and the soft, sticky middle.
