Kuih Cincin

Kuih cincin / ring cookies is a traditional cake of the Brunei Malay community in Sabah. This donut is a special dish of the people of Sabah. Kuih ring are made from sugar, palm sugar/apong sugar, rice flour, cooking oil, water and Melaka sugar. This mixture will take on a wreath-like shape before being dipped in the rice flour mixture and deep fried. It will then be dipped again in the rice flour mixture  before being fried a second time until it becomes fluffy.
